3 Exciting New Features Of Android M Have Been Leaked Already
Android M (or Android 6.0), Google’s next version of the mobile OS, is reportedly being launched on May 28th at the Google I/O Conference in San Francisco, California.
The previous version of Android i.e. Lollypop is currently present on only 10% of Android devices, but its successor is already set to follow.
If reports are to be believed, Android M will not bring a complete design overhaul and instead will add some advanced features.
The feature that stands out will be the one that takes care of an issue that has plagued Android since its inception – privacy.
Here are some expected features that are doing the rounds in the rumor mill:
For years, Apple’s iOS has provided better security to its users when compared to Android.
Google finally aims to change that with the latest update as the M is expected to provide users with complete control over the access provided to apps before installation.
2. Voice Access
Like most smartphones, Android enables a user to access apps using touch.
With the latest update though, a user will be able to access all apps using voice, making the experience of using a smartphone completely hands-free.
Google’s ‘Nearby’ feature is expected to use NFC technology for initiating communication with nearby devices, people and places in a given coverage area.
This might turn out to be handy for people using multiple Google devices at home/work.
So, features look exciting and the wait isn’t too long to know whether the next Android is going to be called Android Marshmallows or Milkshake?
