Here Is Where The Photo Of Gandhi On The Rupee Note Came From
Probably the first picture that comes to every Indian’s mind when one thinks of MK Gandhi, the photograph on every Indian Rupee note, is a historical one.
It wasn’t a drawing as opposed to the contrary belief, neither was it a photo taken at a studio, it was indeed cropped from a candid picture taken while Gandhi was standing next to Lord Frederick William Pethick-Lawrence, a British politican, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
